Today we're listening to episode 125 and I am talking with Kellyn Taylor.

I've wanted to have Kellyn on the show for a really long time now so I was super excited

when she agreed to come on right off of her win at the grandma's marathon this past weekend.

Kellyn runs with Nas Elite under coach Ben Rosario and she runs for Hoka on a on a on

a.

You guys it's called Hoka on a on a.

I know I thought it was Hoka 112 but Kellyn schools me on that.

She recently just ran a four minute PR.

She ran a 224 28 at the grandma's marathon this past weekend setting a two minute course

record and making her the seventh fastest American woman marathoner of all time.

I am so happy for Kellyn.

She's had a great career.

She's had a successful career but she feels that this race really put her on the map

to do great things and before this her PR was 228.

So when you're talking sub 230 marathoner PR in by four minutes that's crazy.

Kellyn started Boston this year so she told the line up Boston had to drop out because

of severe hypothermia and just eight weeks later ran the grandma's marathon and we get

to talk about what that transition and training looked like from her Boston build to being

extremely fit to how she recovered and then went on to run grandma's.
