some kind of flower um let me try and guess what it is not when i see around these parts

it's supposed to be a geranium oh fantastic yeah yes and you've got a you've got a blog

site called hopeful geranium if i'm not mistaken. Is that right?

Yeah, yes. Which I, um, is a term I stole from Eric Juan Stroheim and Cecil Bede and Mill.

So it's just a symbol in their films. It turns up as a symbol in their films to represent hope and

the most die, you know, in a slum or something like that,

there'll be a geranium sitting on the window cell and that's like the hope of that character

living in that room.

You know, they might be in a core.

And, um, when Stroheim was in, um, is it, um, forget the name of it, but Renway's film

about the prison camp and he played de gard and they

used the symbol there too so it's sort of been trans was in a few of those early classic cinema so i like
