We're so excited because we have Jody England

Hansen with us today. Welcome Jody. Thank you. Thanks for having me here. We are

pretty excited. I feel like Susan and I said to each other like two years ago we

should have Jody on and then we kept thinking of topics we wanted to have you on and

then this is I know and now that this is a hot topic we're like okay this is it this is what we actually want to talk about with you today Jody so can you just go ahead and

introduce yourself and I'm sure many of our listeners are familiar with you but maybe some aren't so

we'd love to just hear a little bit about you and whatever you want to share with us.

There are many things I could share right now. I live in Salt Lake City with my husband.

He just retired and I am currently involved in several of the work groups for the Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition.

I'm an activist and an advocate for mostly women's issues and LGBTQ issues and suicide prevention is very much in line with these things.

I spend a lot of time volunteering to lead

p. P. P. suicide prevention training to many different groups,

especially faith groups and school groups.

I go on testify before the legislature for any number of issues that impact people's experience of belonging in the world.

I am a ninth generation Mormon and very much have every aspect of my life connected with that heritage.
