0:18.0	A number of months ago, when COVID-19 first hit,

0:22.0	There's a lot of frying workers and need health.
0:24.0	They needed PPE.
0:25.7	They needed personal protection, and they needed it now.
0:28.8	And what we found out is that the United States was not ready,
0:30.9	and specifically Seattle wasn't ready.
0:33.2	A lot of Area Hospitals were asking, hey, if there are locals here, if you have an N-95 mask sitting
0:38.8	in your garage, which I did, I had 10 of them.
0:41.1	I dropped them off at an area hospital, but you know what I found out when I dropped those off?
0:45.0	That just wasn't enough. Nurses, doctors, ambulance drivers, firefighters, police officers started reaching out to me and said,
0:52.0	hey, we have to do something about this.
0:54.1	Ron, I did.
0:54.7	I reached out to my friend Christy Peterson.
0:56.9	We called her.
0:57.7	She said, you have to talk to my friend Mingman.
0:59.9	She won something called the Refugee Artisan Initiative.
