Tell us why your name is Mithrin and why you're here

and why you're talking about this topic on this podcast.

Yeah, so my name Mithrin comes from,

I needed to create a new online presence, and I reached down to the

textbook that was on my left.

It was a math book, and the author's name was actually Mithrin.

I thought that was such a cool name.

I needed to use it online, and it's been that way ever since.

I'm known probably the most for my historical posts on the ex-Mormon pod

or X-Mormon subreddit, the Mormon subreddit, and on the LDS subreddit once upon a time ago.

I have two books coming out this month. One of them is the ABCs of Science and Mormonism.

And I delve into all the falsifiable, verifiable points of Mormonism, including if tea is good for you, the weight of the brass plates, fighting styles, and what sorts of weaponry were available in time periods

and locations with actual scientific rigor applied.

The other one that's coming out is called I Should Start a Cult.
