Patreon is a crowdfunding platform just like those,

but some of the features lend themselves to people that do an episodic model like podcast.

You pledge a certain amount per episode.

You only get charged when an episode's released.

Patreon and the 2500 people that support the show on there have long been what makes this podcast possible.

But say that's not your thing.

Let's say instead what you like to do is stare at your computer screen,

go into a fugue state and compulsively buy things on Amazon.
