This week, we're recording live

from a beautiful house in the hills discussing the 2015 horror drama, The Invitation. The Invitation was

directed by Karin Kasama and written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. This film walks a tightrope

between founded suspicion and paranoia while exploring themes of grief, community,

and loss. With committed performances and an effective slow burn, the invitation tells a unique

story. This film was recommended to us by friends of the show Carly and Claire Sutton. We want to

thank them for their support and for their suggestion. We truly do appreciate it. So, what did you guys think of the invitation the first time you saw it?

I think I remember we watched this together.

I think you're right.

Yeah.

But I do remember, I don't want to say that I fully liked it because I was a little

confused at some things, but I have watched this movie quite a bit of times,

and I do enjoy this movie a lot.

I watched it again today,

and I'll probably watch it in the future again.

But this, and the thing is,

this movie's a slow burn,

and I usually don't go for them,
