Summary

If you’ve been practicing meditation for some time, you may have heard the instruction somewhere along the way to “sit like a mountain.” But what does that mean? Is it just a nice metaphor? Thomas takes us right to the heart of our mountain nature in this episode, where there is always, right here, an abiding peace, stillness and stability.

You can see what you think about this.

1:44.3

I was somewhere outside of Seattle.

1:48.1

This was sometime in the last 10 years.

1:51.4

I was just meditating in a quiet, cozy little room

with a few colleagues of mine.

1:58.1

And the breakfast bell rang, or it was about to ring something like that and it was

time to get up and I had this thought in my mind time to get up and the moment I had this thought

time to get up it was as if I could feel the mass of the entire universe. This could sound trippy. Look, you don't need to have
