As we've been having these guests like Rachel Held Evans,

Science Mike, Rob Bell, we've been talking about the Bible and Scripture.

But one of the common themes has been their journeys of faith where there's a struggle,

a time of uncertainty of doubt.

And so today we thought it would be good for Pete and myself to have a little conversation about just that.

Pete has recently written the sin of certainty,

where he kind of gives us an overview and some talking points about their struggles with faith and uncertainty and doubt.

So Pete, maybe give us a little overview of your story with that and we'll jump into this conversation.

All right, well, I mean, first of all, just you mentioned Rachel and Mike and Richard Roar and a couple of other guests who are very open about their struggles with faith.

And I think that's one reason why they're so popular.

They're honest and authentic.

And people are looking for that.

I'm absolutely convinced that this journey of faith is sometimes very, very difficult for people that are never talked to.

So there's a world out there that are audiences that are looking for people to sort of articulate those struggles.

And that's, you know, probably a very good thing.
