You know, we go way back all the way back to Awaken 2021, but today we are in Mark 3.

How did we get here?

What verses stood out as you prepared to write about chapter 3?

There are a few things that like really, really stand out, looking at the context of,

hey, how did people respond to Jesus?

They were swarming.

They were flocking this man because he was healing so many people.

So he was extremely popular during the day by the majority of people who are coming to him.

And then in chapter 3, verse 1 through 6, we see that the Pharisees have this encounter with Jesus.

So it's this relationship in between Jesus and normal people, Jesus and those who are being healed

their diseases, continuing on, verse five. And he looked

around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, stretch out your

hand. He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. So just looking at verse five, that is the

verse that stood out to me through probably about seven years or so every

single time I looked at verse five. I felt that the Holy Spirit was just prodding my heart at grieving,

how Jesus grieved at the hardness of the Pharisees' heart because I felt like my heart was hard,

and I grieved at the hardness of my heart.
