It's not surprising. I mean each generation has to learn those things and find a way to put some sense of fairness in order in their lives.

I mean, little kids when they play together,

when they're little, you know, if you can remember that.

They play with kids, you don't think about what color

their hair, their skin is, or whether they have all their their limbs or whether they can talk or see,

whether they speak a language you understand or not, you just play, you're into it.

And then somehow society, your environment, something, somebody, some combination of factors, starts you

differentiating, putting yourself above or below or beside, and so there's a there's a separation from that which is different somehow

and then all I can hope for anybody is that in their adolescence or in their adult life

something or somebody or some combination of circumstances will help them unlearn that and learn anew to play nice.
