| 0:53.8 | You are really a pioneer in the podcast arena. You've been |
| 1:00.7 | doing the broad experience for more than five years. And you know, you were there at sort of the |
| 1:06.8 | very beginning when podcasting became popular. What motivated you to start the broad |
| 1:12.3 | experience? It was kind of an accident. I was, it was spring 2012 and I was studying on this |
| 1:20.9 | entrepreneurial journalism program at CUNY, which is the City University of New York. |
| 1:25.6 | And we all had to give birth to a media business. And I knew I |
| 1:30.7 | wanted to do something around the topic of women. And I knew it was going to be a podcast because audio |
| 1:35.0 | was my medium. I was a long time radio reporter. So that was, it was by far my favorite medium. |
| 1:41.0 | You know, it's the most intimate medium there is. I love it. So the, |
| 1:44.9 | the program I was on was a big instigator. But as for the idea why I wanted to do something |
| 1:50.9 | around women and how it came to be about women in the workplace, there's this program in the UK |
