0:00.0	I did a trial in Santa Barbara Court, it was a jury trial, and they have something called the
0:05.6	Elmo, and the Elmo is like an over, the new version of an overhead projector.
0:09.5	The other expert would go to the overhead projector and he would do his stuff and then they turn around and said

0:15.7	I said it's okay and they said do you want to use the Elmo and I said no can I use a
0:19.1	flip chart and they said sure so I take the flip chart and I put it right in front of the jury box and I
0:24.0	start drawing and I start narrating and I get it done and then I go back to the
0:28.7	witness stand and they're asking questions I get off the witness stand. Here's the thing to think about
0:33.6	psychologically when you talk about creating a visual in someone's mind. So if I
0:38.0	use the Elmo when I was done they would have turned it off. But when I was
0:41.0	done he didn't flip the flip chart. So the jury spent the rest of the day staring at my picture and my numbers.
