| 0:51.0 | She plays second at the Boston Marathon on Monday, this past Monday, April 16, 2018. |
| 0:57.8 | Sarah is a nurse. She works full-time and lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband. |
| 1:03.8 | She does most of her training runs after work, a lot of hard workouts after a full day of work. |
| 1:10.0 | She's not a sponsored athlete, though she is a very good runner, obviously. |
| 1:15.8 | This is only her second marathon. She signed up when her brother signed up and they kind of had a friendly competition to see who could beat one another's time. |
| 1:24.6 | She did run her first marathon in Utah last fall, where she ran a 240 foreign and secured her spot in the elite field in Boston. |
| 1:33.0 | Sarah ran for Weber State University. She held a 10 KPR of 32-15. |

| 1:42.6 | She was super focused on grad school and didn't really train much. |
| 1:48.6 | She did a lot of leisurely running. When she decided to train for her first marathon last fall, she kind of just trained without speedwork or anything like that and then picked it up for Boston. |
| 1:58.6 | She wanted to qualify for the Olympic A standard, which is 237 in Boston on Monday. She ran a 244 and she'll tell you guys all about that experience. |
| 2:09.6 | I'm super proud of Sarah and excited for her, happy for her, and I'm going to go ahead and let her share her story with you guys. |
| 2:18.6 | Congratulations to everybody else who ran on Monday who fought the cold and frigid temperatures and the rain. |
