To celebrate Canada Day?

Yeah, okay, we're recording on Canada Day, or as Homer Simpson likes to call it, America, Jr. Day. And you are...

You're not still a Canadian, citizen. I still am. They didn't make me give it up.

This is one of the enduring legal ironies of the American Republic. Your oath of naturalization, I became a US citizen five years ago.

Your oath of naturalization says you renounce all foreign princes, sovereigns, and potentates, and yet they don't make you do that.

So I am a dual citizen. Now, if I ever take a job that needs a top secret clearance or something, I'll have to renounce it.

But for now, I go both ways along the 49th parallel.

I'm not gonna touch that. As I was saying off-air, I was trying to sort of discipline myself about some of my more juvenile forms of humor.
