Last time, as March of 1943 wound down, CNC Wevel believed he had found the white balance

in dealing with this German-led access advance in North Africa.

Yes, his men had given it some territory.

The access now controlled Agabadilla after taking Mercebrega in an attempt to round the

corner into Sirenacca, but still they held Sirenacca.

And the more land Rommel gobbled up, the more men he would have to leave behind to potentially

defend it.

In essence, Rommel's successes were weakening the main reason for his success, his number

of men.

Or so, Wevel thought.

And now Wevel surmised Rommel was at a fork in the road.

Literally.

From Agabadilla, his current position, the road north led to Benghazi, the road to the

north east led to Antilat, which would it be.

Now that the Commonwealth forces had the bit between their teeth, cities and territory

held by the Duke of Osta in the name of Italy were falling like bowling pins.

Still, the Duke held out as best he could, hoping time was on his side.
