MBA player Lexi Brown. She is a guard on the Minnesota links but before we get to that I just want to

thank each and every one of you who helped out with

Iowa with the drecho recovery last week by getting one of those keep or moving

Iowa shirts again a hundred percent of the proceeds went to the United Way of East Central Iowa.

They're doing great work helping out with not just the immediate recovery, but then people

are still dealing with, you know know financial losses and all that sort of stuff so they're going to

help them for the next uh... couple months uh... recover from this terrible natural

disaster and we raised over $83,000 which is absolutely amazing.

Again, 100% of the proceeds from these shirts that all of you were so generous to buy and

I mean that's just so awesome. in my mind that really speaks to the Midwest

of you know when there's a problem everybody rallies together to help folks they

don't even know with with that problem so thank you all for doing that okay so before

we dive into the podcast the interview with Lexi I just want to say a few things

about what's going on Kenosha this week and I know this is such a charge topic and

You know, I mean if you if you can't

Handle anymore feel free not to listen or skip ahead to the interview, but I do think that, you know, there's a lot of a conversation that we can keep moving as opposed to, you know, just yelling at each other on social media. So, anyway, many of you I'm sure have heard

that Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back,

close range by a Kenosha police officer,

which then set off days of protests some of

which have turned violent with looting and property damage and then on Tuesday

night a 17 year old shot three people with a rifle killing two of them.
