We wanted to sort of change the game a little bit

look at the overall series of all the books, it's really about Claire and Jamie, not just about

So this was an opportunity to sort of pivot and tell the audience

that doesn't know the books as well.

Hey, it's not just Claire's story, it's also Jamie's story.

So let's tell this episode from his point of view.

Now, and we're using Jamie's voice over, obviously, for the first time to kind of root ourselves in his point of view.

But we went kind of back and forth on this, as I recall, over the development of the script.

We did the first draft of this the script we had Jamie's voice over written in it and
