We met with Shaheed at his studio in Ealing, West London in late October this year.

Sheheed hails from Watford, just north north of London where he was born in 1985.

He had a casual interest in music throughout his youth, teaching himself to play the piano and was

stared by the Bollywood movie soundtracks he had at home, but never really

took it seriously as a career option until after leaving school.

That's right and he didn't actually begin making his own music in earnest until he was 21.

In 2005 after leaving a music technology course on which he'd recently enrolled,

he applied for a grant from the Prince's Trust which he won and plowed into purchasing recording equipment,

following which he swiftly converted his parents shed into a studio and I think it was around that time
