What is up, you spooky bitches? We are back and we have another episode of the Hello

Sydney podcast, a podcast for horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror. And it's

me, your girl, Sydney. Happy Friday. Happy foreign horror month where you are getting an extra

episode every Friday because there are just too many foreign horror movies that I love.

So I simply needed to use every day that I could.

And I'm still probably going to have to do another foreign horror month to get all of the ones

that I really love out there to you guys because it's just, it's just top tier. And you'll notice

a lot of the ones I chose this month are either French or Korean. And that's because those are my personal favorites. Like French and Korean cinema are just peak. Like there is something about them. And America honestly could never. And a lot of like obviously I'm exaggerating with that. like a lot of my favorite horror movies are American horror movies.

But there is just something so different about the tone of French and Korean cinema and the fact that like they don't give a fuck.

Like it is just so hopeless and bleak.

And it's just emotions unlike you've ever felt in cinema before. And I'm starting

off today real strong with a really fucking depressing one. So I told you guys last week,

if you heard the lineup, like fair warning, foreign horror is not for the week of heart. Like this

shit is fucking intense. It's depressing.

It's disturbing. And this one's really upsetting today, to be honest. And this movie has one of my

favorite plot twists of all time. And I never saw it coming. Like this hit me like a fucking

ton of bricks the first time I watched this movie. And we're

talking about the movie Incident in a Ghostland, which came out in 2018. It's also just known as

Ghostland. I think that's what it was named when it went around the festival circuit at first.

And this is the only foreign horror movie we're going to talk about this month that is actually
