wednesday happy mid july no what the fuck am i saying it's like late july by the time this

episode comes out it's going to be the 23rd where the hell where does the time go i hope everybody's

been enjoying their summer i hope everybody's been avoiding sharks like the plague. Shark week actually is this

week. This I can officially say. I thought it was last week, but I believe it is this week, the 20th to the 26.

So it is ongoing. And that's what inspired our shark month here. I mean, why have shark week when

you can have a whole shark month? And we are continuing shark month today with 47 meters down,

which is honestly like my

greatest fear personified.

Why the fuck I would ever be cage diving?

I wouldn't be.

So I would avoid this like the plague.

Like there is no possible way this could happen to me.

But I still just think about the possibility of it and how utterly fucking terrifying it is.

Before we get into that, what did I watch this week? So I did go see the new. I know what you did last summer. I went to New York for this event. We had like cocktails and popcorn and all that good stuff. The cast was there. We got to hang out with them. Not the legacy cast like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prince Jr. were not there. I probably would have passed away. But it was still really cool. We got to talk to the director and do like a Q&A with her and everything. Honestly, I think I said it in last week's episode. Like I expect the movie to not be good, but I expect it to be nostalgic and entertaining. And that's honestly exactly how I feel. Like it's not a great movie. Like I think a lot of the characters are annoying. Like, the dialogue is, like, incredibly cringy to the point where it's just, like, painful at times, honestly. But there's so many callbacks to the original, like the original too, really, if you're a fan of those. So I had, I had fun with it. I laughed. It kept me entertained. And that's honestly all I could ask for. It's a fucking slasher movie. Like I don't have high expectations for slasher movies, especially one where like, I don't think the original movie is that great, you know, but I do have a fun time with it. And again, it's nostalgic. It's from the 90s. And again, it was just nice to see like the legacy characters on screen. I would definitely rewatch it. Like its rewatchability is up

there because again, it's a fun mindless slasher and I'm just a sucker for that. So I had fun. I enjoyed it. I'm glad I saw it. The killer reveal to me was incredibly upsetting though. And that's all I'm going to say about that because I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet. But that's really the big thing I saw this week, guys, because I bought a house.

I need to get my episodes for next month out and ready to go because I am going to be so busy. Like I'm going and I'm painting by myself. I'm like doing everything by myself. Like so it's going to be a hectic month, but I bought a fucking house. So I'm trying to get like all my video episodes filmed in advance because I am like I have a bedroom that I'm making into an office where I am going to have like a brand new setup that I have in mind. Like I have a vision and that's going to be my new backdrop.
