My name is Luke Burbank, I'm your host, this is episode 1,069 in a collector's series

coming to you once again from New York City.

I've been back here doing some television recording for CBS and tomorrow morning I will

be on the show up with Chris Hayes on MSNBC if you get a chance to check that out.

What we have for you today on this Friday edition of the program is really and truly one

of the more bizarre recording experiences I've ever been a part of.

Last night, me and three buddies, Dan Pashman who does the great podcast The Sportful along

with Mark Garrison.

Also my friend, Wynne Rosenfeld, who is an amazing filmmaker, video person, editor,

and then our buddy, Mike Pesco, who you've heard on TBTL a bunch of times, the sports

reporter at NPR.

We all went to the second Avenue deli and by the time I got there, everybody else

already had their recording equipment out.

Mike had his audio stuff, Dan had his stuff, Wynne was videotaping the entire thing on

his phone and we proceeded to sit there and cross-interview each other in the most bizarre

way of all times.

So just imagine a table, three of the four guys have microphones and are constantly moving

the microphones around the table.

So when I'm talking, Dan is recording me because he's going to put it on his podcast,

The Sportful.
