Hey, it's Jamie Kabe. Welcome back to the Forgotten podcast. If you are part of the foster care

community, passionate about serving or simply interested in learning more,

we are here for you. Today, I get the honor of introducing you to a dad who has walked a very

difficult road, but he's been an overcomer in so many ways, including working through the

foster care system to reunite with his precious little girl. Jay's story is

incredible. You'll hear what his life was like growing up and how he found himself involved with the

foster care system. And as a special treat, you'll also hear from Liz, the foster mom, who cared for

his little girl. She shares what it was like to meet Jay for the

first time and what their relationship looks like today. I am really proud of Jay for sharing his

story and I cannot wait for you to hear it. Jay is real and raw and wants to encourage others

who have similar experiences to his. Plus, I loved his laugh. He shared with me

that in the past, he would always cover his mouth. If he laughed, it's like he felt like he couldn't
