Hey everyone, welcome back to another pink show, episode 100 and something or other.

I'm Mike Levy and today we're going to do something called the three bike challenge,

a topic idea that came from PB user Jay Sheridan, who

posted it as a comment under a previous podcast. So what we're going to do today is each pick

three bikes that we like at or around-ish three different price points. So that's $1,000 on a bike,

$3,000 on a bike, and $6,000 American

on a bike. Then we need to back our choices up. For example, Kaz will have to explain

why spending $6,000 on a Bianchi e-bike that he really wants is a good idea instead of an insult

to both mountain biking

and anyone who owns a set of working eyeballs. But seriousness aside, I think we all have some

different priorities when it comes to what we want out of a bike and how we like to ride bikes.

So I think this is going to be a lively discussion once we get to it. And just so you know, none of us know what bikes the others have chosen.

We're just going to spring it on each other instead.

So before we get to that and the news, I've got a different question to start this podcast.

Looking back, you know, it was like the first generation that had like a one-by drive train.

It had the lyric.

It had so many things going on.
