Summary

Heather Jackson is putting up smashing results as she just now enters the worlds of gravel and ultrarunning. Which is as much a surprise that a "neo" pro would be able to accomplish these things as much as it's totally expected as she's been a triathlete for 15 years, expertly honing her 10-plus hour endurance. But let's talk about her time in Thailand! Or her medals from the US track national championships! Or growing up playing hockey... with me in small town New Hampshire! This is a great conversation that I know you'll enjoy.  Don't forget to give Athletic Greens a try by visiting www.AthleticGreens.com/tedking to jumpstart your day the best way possible.

Two or three weeks ago, less than a minute off second place.

0:35.6

She did a couple of races last year.

0:38.2

She held her own at the Oregon Trail Stage Race, which is rumored to be super chunky,

0:42.0

super gnarly, and a total blast.

0:44.4

Then, of course, Unbound 2022, she was right up there in the podium hunt for more than

0:49.2

half of the race before Mechanical derailed her day in that muddy Kansas countryside.

0:54.4

Meanwhile, her results in alter runs are just quite frankly jaw-dropping.

0:59.2

So we're in a talk shop there as well.

1:01.9

What's notable about her 2022 results is she was using that in preparation for her final Ironman

1:08.0

triathlon.

1:09.5

She's not new to sports.

1:12.9

She's been a professional triathlet for 15 years, which was almost her first job straight out of college. We've got a funny

1:18.6

couple anecdotes right there that we're going to hit on today. Like, for example, when she lived

in Thailand? Yeah, friends, Heather has got some good stories. Best yet, and in particular why I'm
