Hello, Year of Polygamy listeners and friends.

It's been a year since I've talked to you all on this subject, and as you know, we wrapped up the year of polygamy podcast with 100 episodes on the principle of plural marriage in Mormonism. So much has happened

since then in just a year. I plan to update you each year with several episodes on the state

of Mormon polygamy just because the landscape of polygamy changes so quickly,

and so much has happened since we stopped recording. I could keep recording each week on this subject,

but because it's such a heavy topic and I've really shifted my efforts on this topic towards

activism, it's difficult for me to find the time. Of course, we have the Color of Heaven

podcasts, which has been wildly successful, and I hope to record more of the story of woman

podcasts, but the research on that is bonkers, time-consuming. This month, I'm going to be releasing

a total of six episodes on the subject of polygamy. We have historians back. We even have a woman from Islam discussing plural marriage in her culture.

We have Mormon fundamentalists who have left their group.

And even my husband, my elusive husband that nobody really knows anything about is going to.

He's actually volunteered begrudgingly to come on the podcast.
