Hey everyone and welcome back to episode 101 of the Pink Show.

That sounds absolutely crazy to say 101 episodes.

Today, we're going to be talking about something we haven't seen in a while

and that we wouldn't have ever expected to miss.

It's bike industry trade shows.

So there are a bunch of really interesting smaller shows out there, but the big three are, or were maybe, Interbike, Eurobike, and the Taipei cycle show.

And those three shows are where companies used to debut new bikes and products a bunch of years ago. Now, that's definitely changed

in more recent times, largely due to something called the internet, but you could still go to any

of those shows and see all the latest gear, the wildest bikes in person, and have someone tell you all the info and

answer all your questions. Later on in the show, we're going to talk all about trade shows,

when and where they're held, industry days and consumer days, what it's like to walk around

inside these massive shows and what we do for work at them, what bike companies do for work at them.

And we're also going to talk about all the stuff we love and hate about trade shows.

But, Kazimer, before we get to that pesky work stuff, I first want to mention the sometimes

not obvious point that, well, we're going to moan about trade shows a bunch.

I mean, they are work and there are a lot of work. We're going to get to that.

There are also a reason that we've been able to fly around the world and see and do some amazing

shit, right? Yes, yes, we've gotten to go some good places and have adventures on the side

in between all the writing about the latest widgets and

gadgets and things. Definitely, yeah. So you've definitely been to a lot of trade shows over the years,

Kaz, some of them with me, some of them without me. But do you have a non-work favorite memory

from all the travels that we've done together? Most of those are from Taiwan.
