Good morning and welcome to the Increase Remempect podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,994. A common conversation that I find myself having with coaches and executives and athletes is discussing our circle of influence.

The things that you have control over, the things that they have control over

comes up all the time. And a common principle we are discussing is the importance of focusing your

energy on where you have the greatest influence. There's a lot of places where you have no influence

or little influence.

But I'm asking you, listening to this, that question, where do you have the greatest

influence? And it's going to look different for everybody at different times in our lives.

And as you give power and focus on the things you have greater influence on, those things begin to expand. And your impact

begins to have a greater, a greater, not only depth, but you can scale more as you're able to focus

on the things that you can control. There's that common axiom, the grass is greener on the other side.

But what we always talk about is the grass is greener where you water it. So focus on your

patch of grass, focus on your lawn and start watering where you're around. We often say in professional

sport, in baseball in particular, dominate the level you're at a lot of

young minor leaguers are so focused on getting to the next level and the next level the way you

get to the next level is by dominating the current level you're at focus on where you can have

the greatest impact you can't have an impact on the major leagues if you're in. Focus on where you can have the greatest impact. You can't have an impact on the

major leagues if you're in the minor leagues. All you can do is focus on where you're at. The grass is

greener where you water it. Dominate the level you're at and focus your energy on where you have

the greatest influence. My question to you is how can you put these principles into practice today?

And what does it look like?

What does the version of you look like when you're focusing and giving your energy

to the places you have the greatest influence?
