Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,991. As we have spoken about so many times,

the importance of relationships cannot be understated in anything that you're doing, relationships of a family,

your workers, relationships of your team, your teammates.

And what I want to focus on here moving forward a little bit more is increasing your

impact in order to build relationships and connection so strong that they could bear the weight

of truth.

One key factor that I've noticed amongst working with some of the top performing sports organizations

in the world is the fact that relationships play a huge role in optimizing performance.

Now today what I want to talk about is that circumstance when you're really frustrated with

someone's actions. And let's talk about a very specific singular action.

You're frustrated, you're angry, you think that person is a terrible person, they're hurting the

team, whatever it may be. There may be somebody out there who is viewing the action or the actions

of someone and it's bothering you a lot. What we want to get to is we want to get you to a place where you can think clearly,

where you don't jump to conclusions,

you don't make any decisions or say or do anything that you're going to later regret.

So how do you get to that state of clarity?

First, you got to slow down your thinking. And one way to

slow down your thinking is to consider three questions. And here are the three questions.

Question number one is, what don't I know? What don't I know about the situation? There's a lot

that you do know, but again, there's a lot that you do not know.

And just pausing to consider that. Again, just sitting there by yourself, you're not going to be

able to know exactly what you don't know, but it helps you realize that there is, there's a part
