Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,973. I want to read to you something that someone sent me the other day. I don't know where it's from or who sent it to me, but please, I actually know who sent to me. I just don't know where it's from. But if you know who this is please let me know so here it goes quote

in the midst of chaos in the depths of uncertainty in the worst of times stop for a moment and be quiet

if there's no one to call on if there's no help coming if there's no place to go, stop for a moment and be quiet.

When the ground seems to crumble beneath you, when the air seems too thick to breathe,

when the light seems distant, stop for a moment and be quiet.

Then find one issue to address, one problem to solve, or one task to complete,

and keep doing that until things have improved. I love that. I love it because it reminds me of the

Stockdale paradox, accepting and staring the brutal facts in the face and at the same time holding the faith that you're going to be able to navigate it.

You're going to get through it.

And how do you get through it?

By solving one problem, pick one thing to complete and take one step.

Start with that.

And then just keep doing it until things have improved. Not been eliminated, not completely gone away, but until they have improved.

And you just keep going. And so my question for you today is, what does that little step look like?

What is that one task to complete? What is that one task to complete?

What is that one problem to solve?

Or maybe you're in the moment where you just need to stop for a moment and be quiet.

Maybe that's the win for you.
