I recently, today actually, picked up a book on my bookshelf that I forgot that I had read

a couple years ago.

I picked it up, I was going through it, and I found this list. Now, the book is called

Traction by Gino Wickman. And essentially, it's a book about building systems in order to

optimize business performance. But I think the principles hold true in life, in whatever you do.

And in this book, Gino Wickman creates a five-step, kind of a set of

principles, a set of principles that we can give ourselves in order to achieve our goal. And so,

number one, there are five questions, essentially. Question number one is, where do I want to go?

And he suggests to create a clear 10-year vision, three-year goal, and one-year target for your

company or for yourself.

And he says the key to making good business decisions is having a clear and compelling

10, 3, and one-year picture to guide your decisions.
