I recently read a quote by Charlie Munger who said that, quote, I think you can learn a lot from other people. In fact, I think if you learn basically from other people, you don't have to get too many new ideas on your own.

You can just apply the best of what you see, close quote.

I've recently joined Moonball Media that was created by Eric Hosmer and Anthony Seratelli,

and we created this new podcast with Peter Moylan called

The Digging Deep podcast. And this is where we're interviewing elite athletes of today,

athletes of the past and we're talking to coaches and people in different industries.

And one theme that is coming up a lot is how these men and women

learn from others. They're seeking people out. They're asking their advice. They're trying to learn.

They're trying to grow. They're they're trying to gain secondhand experience and learn through vicarious learning so that they

don't have to make the same mistakes over again. And I think that's what the best do.

We've heard so many stories where Michael Jordan was learning from those who went before him.

Kobe Bryant learned from Michael Jordan. LeBron James, learned from Kobe Bryant.

And you see these greats wanting to learn from the greats that came before.

And so my question to you is, who are you learning from?

Who are these people both within and outside of your industry that you can learn from?

And also, who are people that you are learning from right in your face?

And it might be somebody, it might be a child, it might be a neighbor, it might be a coworker. And so my invitation for you today is to text or call or to tell someone to their face things you have learned

from them because it means a lot when someone comes up to you and says hey i've been watching i've

been noticing and these are the things that i've learned from you. If someone has affected you in that way,

my invitation to you is to reach out and let them know.
