Good morning and welcome to the Increasing Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,941. And today,

I want to read to you an excerpt from Kobe Bryant's book. And he says this, quote,

don't copy the what, copy the how. Kobe would study greatness in any domain, sports, music,

business, art, whatever. This is why kobe says no matter what

discipline you're in there's a common denominator in how we approach our craft the attention to detail

the level of commitment those things are the same across the board that is my message message. Don't look at what I did, but how I did it.

The how. And then you can transfer that over to any profession and any discipline, close quote.

That's a great message to start off the week because a lot of times we lose focus on the process,

the attention to detail, the level of commitment, the focus, aligning, identifying what your

priorities are and just going after it. So many times we look at these elite performers in any

domain and we say that's what I want to do i want to win those

championships i want to make that money i want to achieve that thing that they achieved but we don't

pause to ask the question what price did that person pay to get where they are and oftentimes when

you look under the hood to see what they did to see what they are. And oftentimes when you look under the hood, to see what they did, to see what

they sacrificed, to see what they, the changes they had to make in order to achieve greatness,

a lot of people aren't willing to pay that price. So once again, take a look at the how,

the attention to detail, the level of commitment, the committing to the things

that matter most. And so my question to you is, in what things do you need to pay more attention

to detail? What does increasing your level of commitment look like? And what are your priorities and what do you need to do to achieve them.
