Good morning and welcome to the Increase Reimpact podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode

0:05.0

1,885. Today we're talking about positivity and there are a lot of

0:11.8

definitions out there, but I would love to share with you today my working

0:16.6

definition of positivity. Emphasis on the word working definition that I often

0:23.0

add to or take away from different words depending on how things evolve, but

0:29.9

here's my current working definition. Positivity is not about slapping the

0:35.8

smile on your face, ignoring the reality of your situation and assuming that

positive because they're not always smiling and that's not necessarily the

1:30.6

case. Positivity is a mindset. It's being able to stare at the difficulty of

1:39.0

your situation. It's okay to say your situation is difficult. It's okay to be

1:43.9

frustrated with things that are outside of your control. It's okay to want the

1:51.6

storm that you're going through to end. It's painful. It's created anger

1:59.3

inside some of you. It is cause some of you tears, agony, just regret in some

2:06.6

cases. Now what positivity is, it's accepting those feelings and then asking

2:14.8

yourself the question, what am I going to do about it? What can I control? And then
