1,883. I came across a quote today that I really like and the reason I liked it so

much is because it's true and have you ever come across those quotes where you

hear it and you're thinking wow that is so true how did I not think about that

before is by Morgan Housel he is the author of the book the psychology of

money and it goes like this quote bad luck is easy to identify when you fail

and good luck is easy to ignore when you succeed and it is so true whenever

we struggle whenever we fail and you particularly see it in sports oh it was

the umpires fault it was a referees fault it was bad weather it was we didn't

feel good we got these injuries you just think about you start to list all of

these variables of unlucky factors that contributed to why we failed lots of

excuses lots of complaining but when we win it's all because of us because of

our preparation because of our strategy our prowess how good we are how strong

we are how fast we are however very not often do we pause and consider how

luck contributed to our success the ball bounce in our favor maybe we got a

good call from the referee or the umpire maybe the market tended to swing our

way we just happen to be in the right place at the right time and so today my

invitation to you consider is this during the bad times pause to consider the

bad luck in addition to the bad luck that you have but also consider the good

things that you did the things that you could have done better how did you

contribute to the failure not the referee not the umpire not the playing

conditions what did you do to consider to contribute to the loss and then on a
