1871. Way back many many years ago when Roman army armies conquered a city they

would have something that's similar to a celebration boat parade or bus

parade going through the city that they had just conquered and one thing

that you'll notice even in the drawings that you see of of Roman emperors who

are parading around the city with imagine a number of horses flowers people

sitting along on the side celebrating you'll see the command the commander the

general standing on a chariot and depicted in the pictures you'll notice you'll

see an angel standing behind or a person standing behind this general holding

a crown over his head and what it says what history says is that this person

it depicts this person saying to the general you were just a man you were just

a man as opposed to being a god now the purpose of having such person standing

behind the general saying you're just a man just a man celebrating these

these conquer these they're conquest or conquering the city out getting tripped

up with my words is because they want the general he wants to have someone in

his corner to keep him in check to help him stay humble and realize that he's

just a man you may have won the battle today but be humble because you can

lose tomorrow in addition they're trying to remind the general general wants to

be reminded that you're just a man you're just a human you're going to make

mistakes and you're not always going to win you're not this unconquerable god

and so I found that to be very a very powerful lesson some of you are listening
