One of the best producers of all time and he's the one who's been behind many of the best album since the early 80s

He's worked with

Metallica and M&M Adele red hot chili peppers Johnny Cash Basty boys Dixie chicks and

so many others

He was heard saying that

He never tries to judge an idea based on the description of an idea and so he's always willing to listen to an idea and

People will say some of the artists or the groups will say now we can't do this. We can't do that

He's like no, let's try it. Let's go out there and listen to it. He says that

He says somebody M&M said this about him

Try whatever. Don't be afraid to try whatever even if the idea in the beginning sounds stupid

Because a lot of ideas in the beginning stages sound stupid Rick Rubin's mantra is try it anyway

And I think that's powerful for life too. There may be an idea that you're thinking about that sounds just so dumb

Just so out there. Who are you to do this? Well, this will never work

Well, the only way to know if it will truly work is if you try

Because how many times you have you had great ideas? How many times have you had these ideas that you thought for sure

We're gonna work and they feel flat on this face and so

My question to you is when has there been a time you tried something you didn't know it was gonna work

You didn't know how it was gonna be but you tried it and you know what?

It worked or you learned something or something good came out from it

When have you experienced that in your life now take a look your life now
