Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 1,742. And today we're

talking to those of you who are truly, truly invested in your craft. You put a lot of time into it.

You put a lot of attention to detail into it you make a lot of sacrifices and when you invest in

your craft to a very high degree it's more painful when you don't produce the results you work for

failure is painful but as you've probably learned, pain triggers change.

Pain can be a powerful teacher.

Pain will cause you to investigate where you need to level up.

The key is to take that pain and put it in a productive action.

And so a couple of questions.

One question is, when have you used pain as productive

fuel in your past? And question number two is, what pain are you currently experiencing? What pain can you,

are you currently experiencing that you can use as productive action?

Now, I'm distinguishing the difference between productive and unproductive action.

Productive.

Not beating up on yourself.

Not the kind of action where you lash out and complain and and feel sorry for yourself.

It's productive action, which is identifying,

staring your failure in the face, which is very difficult in and of itself, will require an

entire its own episode. But it's also taking that, learning it, learning from it,

and then putting it into practice, going and sharpening

your craft as we talked about yesterday. And so here's to pain, here's to failure, here's the

growth, here's the change, here's to you becoming a better version of yourself.
