we are talking about the importance and the power of highlighting the good someone is doing.

A lot of times, top performers, elite performers, are some of the hardest people on themselves

I've ever met, I've ever seen. While they get praises and they get the followings and they get

all the accolades, a lot of these athletes and performers of any domain are very, very hard on themselves.

To them, they're not good enough.

The bar isn't high enough.

They aren't running fast enough.

They aren't successful enough.

It's this constant feeling of chasing and being chased at the same time.

But when you have the time to highlight the good someone's doing,

accentuate their strengths, what you appreciate about them,

what you do is you expose their blind spots

because a lot of times people really don't believe they're doing a good job.

They don't believe they're contributing. They don't believe they're doing a good job. They don't believe they're contributing.

They don't believe they're making a difference.

And so when you highlight something good, something you appreciate, something that you value

in them, you actually expose what they're not even taking into consider of, consideration of.

Because a lot of times they're so focused on being the best version of themselves,

being great, that they're blinded by the good they are doing.

So today, my invitation to you and to myself is to help people catch themselves winning.
