to remember and to notice the opportunities that you have in front of you today. Many times we

look back and think about all of the missed opportunities that we have had in our lives,

all the doors that we should have walked through, but we didn't walk through.

Sometimes that hindsight bias really grabs us because we didn't have the information then that we do now.

We didn't know that things were going to fall the way they did then as we do now.

So rather than beat up on yourself for decisions that you made or did not make and doors that you walked through or you did not walk through and beating up on yourself because of that,

be gentle with yourself and remember that there was information you had no idea about.

So you didn't know what kind of decision or where each path was going to go.

The question you need to ask yourself is, what opportunity do I have today?

What opportunity do you have today? You do have a choice. You have some decisions. You have some

things that are firmly within your control. So as you focus on the opportunities before you, an opportunity to respond

effectively to adversity, an opportunity to keep going even when the odds are against you,

an opportunity to change your attitude, an opportunity to learn, an opportunity to get better,

an opportunity to learn, an opportunity to get better, an opportunity to adjust and adapt.

Adapt. There's always an opportunity in front of you, no matter what your situation looks like.

No matter how dire your situation is, the question you need to ask yourself is, what opportunity do I have?

Because there's a lot of opportunities you don't have. And when we just harp and focus on that,

it leads to negativity. It leads to unproductive thoughts. But when you focus on the opportunities that you do have,

that leads to productive thinking. That leads to focusing on what you can control. And that leads

to focusing on what you're going to do about it. Hopefully today is a simple little reminder

to focus on the opportunities that you do have
