You can't underestimate the energizing power of knowing that you're headed in the right direction.

Whether you're an individual or you're a member of the team of a team and you're the leader of a team, you can't underestimate the power of identifying

direction, identifying a destination, letting everybody know where you're going and being able to measure

progress and to show people that you are headed in the right direction. Now even you listening to this, how do you know you're headed in the right direction?

It's important that you identify what those things are because it's a long road.

Life's already very difficult.

Performance is very hard, especially at the highest level when you have people who are

just as strong, just as fast, just as smart as you who are competing for the exact same thing.

It can become disappointing at times.

So that's why it's imperative that you run your race, that you know what winning looks

like to you and that you catch yourself winning. When you know, when you can rest your head down on

your pillow at night and know that you're headed in the right direction, it's powerful. It's energizing.

It's exciting. And only you are the one who can be able to do that. And so today, identify a couple things. Identify where you're

going. And if you're a leader of a team, ask yourself, to my team members, to the people I'm leading

know where we're going. Have I articulated that?

Number two is then you identify what are the indicators that you're headed that way.

And then highlight them and then do everything you can to keep stacking those wins.
