Today we're talking about the importance of communication.

Communicating with teammates, with family, with friends, with whoever you need to communicate in order to optimize performance.

Performance for your team, for your organization, for your family, whatever group you're

working together with to achieve whatever goal you're going after, it's going to take

communication. One thing to remember is that you cannot read other people's minds and they cannot

read your mind. So that's why it's so important to communicate. Now, is there someone who you

need to communicate with right now? Is there someone you need to give feedback to?

Is there someone you need to ask a question about because you're kind of in the dark, you have some uncertainty, or you just want to clarify something rather than sit in the dark

and wonder and try to read minds, today is the perfect day to reach out to that person

and to find out how you two or you three

or you four can get on the same page. It might require a meeting. It might require a Zoom call.

It might require a text thread. But when you're communicating and everyone's aligned,

that's when great things happened.

And lack of communication tears down teams.

It creates uncertainty.

It stops information from flowing.

So today, my simple invitation is to think about who you need to get better at communicating with and then figure out, build a system on how to communicate more often, identify what you want to say,

what you want to know, what you want to learn, communicate, and then continue to do so as
