Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 21009.

As leaders, you're always asking questions and thinking about how to make your team better, how to make a better culture, how to win more games, how to help serve your people better, just how to be, to improve in every aspect of

leadership and of your team. My invitation today is to invert these questions, to flip them on

their heads and instead of asking what you can do to optimize, but to ask the opposite

question. Questions like, what will destroy our team culture?

What will ruin our season?

What will drive players away?

It sounds different.

It sounds contradictory, but what it will do, it will help you take a look at what you

need to avoid or prepare for.

It might not be more meetings, more messages, more practices, but avoiding things.

So inverting will look like this. Instead of asking, how do I build trust? You ask what breaks

trust the fastest. Instead of asking, how do I get buy-in?

You ask what makes players tune out. Instead of asking, how do I win the room? You ask what makes a

leader lose the room. And when you ask those kind of questions, you're going to get clarity.

Again, you're going to look, you're going to find things that you either need to avoid or things that are inevitable and you need to prepare for.

And so as you look for the, that's, and that's my invitation for today. To take a look at your

team, take a look at your leadership and ask the opposite questions. What are the things that

you need to avoid in order to be the best version of yourself?
