but I'm going to guess with you that the majority of parents want to be with their children.

And if that's in the lower kingdom, then so be it.

Then the parents will forego their celestial glory or whatever, and they'll descend, so to speak,

with their children.

Because how could that be heaven without your kiddos with you.

The thought makes reasons dare, as our hymn says, it really does for me.

So yes talk about complicated things. We're going to discuss a whole lot about sad heaven today. But first Susan, can you just define what is sad heaven? Yeah because when we were thinking about

doing this episode we put a call out on social media for people to share some ideas

with us and that sort of their thoughts about sad heaven and I was amazed at how many women came back and said,

I've never heard this term.

And I can understand a lot of people in the church

generally not understanding that term,

but I thought everyone on social media would know about sad heaven so silly me so I do think we need to spend a

minute talking about what we mean when we say sad we do And one of the great resources that sort of crystallized this idea of Sad Heaven

was an op-ed piece that ran in the Salt Lake Tribune

written by John Ogden some years ago, and in it he said
