I get a lot of questions, a lot of emails, inquiries around town about workshops. I know it's a big

deal in most of the markets. I don't actually know of any market that's not doing them to some

degree and I am resolutely pro

workshop but that's mostly because I'm very for extroverting your talent. I always say it

doesn't matter how people see your work but people have to see your work and know that your work exists.

If you have an agent that's getting you out for a lot of auditions, then your agent is doing the job to extrovert your talent.

But if like many of you, you don't have an agent who's at the level that they can do that.

I find actually getting direct relationship contact with the casting directors over time

proves to be very beneficial for a lot of people. Workshops are not for

everyone. If you hate doing workshops if it makes you want to claw your skin off your face,

I have a lot of friends who've been in that boat and they just have to find other ways to extrovert their talent

whether that's through doing shorts and YouTube videos and making their own content, doing

podcasts, whatever it is so that people can see you performing live maybe at a comedy show,

whatever it is, but people need to be able to see you and see you exist,
