January is such a hard month.

It just, my birthday is in January.

That's about the only good thing that's going to happen this month.

But I'm excited to talk about this topic and it's kind of a sticky one so the title of our episode today is what is the church up to?

I feel like we should have some ominous music that comes in right when you say that.

Oh yeah.

Exactly.

I think that's exactly what that title sounds like and we don't necessarily mean to sound ominous but this conversation I feel like is a little bit different from some of our others because we're not wrestling with matters of faith so much or that kind of complexity, but more specifically

with some of the rhetoric that's going on at church and some things that we feel like need a little or

could use a little clarification. Yeah, so what is the church up to Susan?

It's a great question. I don't know it a great question I've asked myself many times but

specifically this time I'm asking it because you know I saw an article from the church website and I guess

is this something that's going to be in the Leahona is that yes there is no more
