I'm doing well, Susan, thank you.

We're going to have a conversation today about

calling, actually, but the title,

and maybe this will give something away about part of the conversation, is, where's the priesthood in that?

Yeah, I don't remember exactly when that sentence occurred in our note-taking as we started planning this

podcast but it was somewhere early on there was the idea that I don't know maybe it was

around women witnessing baptisms I don't remember what we were talking. I remember what it was but

okay what in a minute. Oh okay okay okay you'll tell us you'll tell us I should I guess I should have looked at my

notes before we started. Teaser, a teaser. It's a teaser So where's the priesthood in that? That's what we're talking about today.

But the conversation is really going to center on the uniquely Mormon experience of having

callings.

Callings really kind of sit at the center

of our whole church experience.

They absolutely do.

I mean, you know, a good calling or a bad calling can really make or break a whole kind of portion of your life for want of a better way to describe it. I can sort of break my life down. In fact, when I look back, I sort of tend to break my life into different

callings that I've had. Oh, absolutely. I totally can. Like, oh, that was the decade that I was in stake primary for almost a whole decade or

you know those were those dark years when I was in nursery for the third time that kind of thing.

Yeah that's just the way that that my of thing. Yeah, that's just the way that my life anyway as a Mormon woman is sort of
