I will spend a few minutes here for our listeners who might not be well acquainted with

you and your work to just kind of share a little bit about you but we have specifically invited you here to talk about a beautiful little book of poetry that you have just released called Finding Mother God.

And I have read it from cover to cover

and skipped around on the inside, gone back.

And it's a book that I probably will carry around with me

because it really speaks some peace to my heart. And so I'm excited to talk about

this and to have you share some of the poems within these pages with us today.

Carolyn is an author, a playwright, a screenwriter, a poet, a performer, a speaker, and general

freelance philosopher. She's perhaps most well known for her memoir,
