David Pachuto and Jimmy Dureesta and we're going to talk about Maker Fair

right? That sounds like fun to me.

I don't think any of us have worked on anything in the last week.

Oh, I have.

Okay, well, what are you working on, David?

Huh?

I had a slight fail so right before I left I was making an end-grain cutting board and on the

CNC I cut out the

in shape of a hamburger and I got some epoxy I mixed some food coloring with that epoxy and I filled in the the inlay and then I thought great that'll be dry when I get back and so I get back from Maker Fair and it never dried.

So what did you do? I had a hard time mixing the food coloring and epoxy. I could see it wasn't mixing like water and oil.

So I just stirred it for like five, six minutes. I'm like, all right, I think this is working.

And then I think that mixture just would not cure.

Yep, so you use proper food coloring and not a dye.

Yes, so the resin that I'm using is a food safe resin and I wanted to color it and I thought well what

could be safer than food coloring right it's for a cutting board and I even

emailed the people that make the resin and I'm like hey can I mix food coloring

with this and they said you know we don't we that make the resin. I'm like, hey, can I make food coloring

with us?

And they said, you know, we don't know, give it a shot.

And I emailed them back today.
