And with that, let's get into the Word of God. On Sunday mornings, we're going through the

epistle to the Ephesians, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. And today our text will be chapter

two, pardon me, I'm so sorry, and verses 19 through 22.

Once you find your way there, I'll ask you to stand if you're able.

If not, that's all right.

And you can follow along as I read beginning in verse 19.

The apostle Paul is writing, and by the Holy Spirit, says verse 19,

consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him, verse 21, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.

And in him, you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

Let's pray if you would join with with me, and we'll ask God's blessing on our understanding.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're here today in this beautiful church building because we long for,

we hunger and thirst for you to minister to our lives, to speak to our hearts, to meet us here in this place.

So, Lord, as we now have our Bibles open, I pray that so too what our eyes and our ears and especially our hearts also be open to receive what it is that you desire to minister to us today.

Lord, please don't let anything distract us or in any way hinder us from that which you have for us in our time together today.

Lord, we are looking forward with great anticipation to what it is that you're going to do in our time together.

So I want to talk today about the storms of life and surviving life storms.

And in our text, the Apostle Paul reveals something that I would argue is one of the most
